Legacy ADLINK Board Repair, Replacement & Testing
Embedded Repair Labs supports the evaluation, repair, replacement, sourcing, and functional testing of legacy ADLINK boards used in industrial automation, transportation systems, telecom platforms, healthcare equipment, test and measurement systems, CompactPCI chassis, COM Express carrier-board systems, PC/104 platforms, and long-life mission-critical embedded environments.
Request Board Evaluation Request a QuoteAbout ADLINK Boards
ADLINK boards are used across embedded computing, edge systems, industrial automation, transportation, healthcare, telecom, test platforms, and mission-critical industrial applications. Many ADLINK platforms depend on specific board standards, module connectors, carrier boards, backplanes, BIOS settings, operating systems, I/O layouts, and revision compatibility, so repair or replacement should be reviewed carefully before substitution.
ADLINK Board Types We Support
CompactPCI & CompactPCI Serial Boards
Support for legacy ADLINK CompactPCI and CompactPCI Serial processor boards, peripheral boards, chassis-based platforms, and backplane-related systems.
COM Express & Computer-on-Modules
Support for ADLINK COM Express modules and computer-on-modules used with carrier boards and application-specific baseboards.
PC/104 & Embedded SBCs
Support for ADLINK PC/104, SBC, and processor-based embedded boards used in compact industrial and transportation systems.
Industrial Motherboards & Embedded Platforms
Support for ADLINK industrial motherboards, PICMG-style boards, industrial chassis platforms, and long-life embedded computing systems.
When an ADLINK Board Fails
A failed or unstable ADLINK board can affect the larger embedded system, chassis, carrier board, or equipment platform it supports. The issue may appear as boot failure, missing I/O, communication faults, backplane errors, carrier-board incompatibility, intermittent operation, display failure, or software-level instability. Because many ADLINK boards are used in long-life and standards-based systems, replacement should be reviewed for module type, slot architecture, BIOS, firmware, revision, I/O, and system compatibility.
Boot, Startup, or Module Failure
The board or module may fail to power on, complete POST, detect memory or storage, initialize display output, or load the operating system.
Backplane, Carrier, or I/O Issues
CompactPCI slots, COM Express carrier interfaces, PC/104 stacks, Ethernet, serial, USB, display, or expansion interfaces may stop working correctly.
Obsolete or Compatibility-Sensitive Platform
The original ADLINK board may be discontinued, revision-sensitive, or difficult to replace without checking connector, backplane, carrier-board, BIOS, and application requirements.
Where ADLINK Boards Are Used
ADLINK boards are commonly used in systems that require dependable embedded computing, modular expansion, and long-term hardware continuity. These systems may include transportation platforms, industrial automation, telecom equipment, healthcare systems, test and measurement equipment, edge computing systems, video surveillance, energy management, and specialized OEM machines.
Transportation & Industrial Automation
Used in embedded systems that require reliable processing, rugged operation, modular I/O, and long-life platform support.
Telecom, Test & Measurement Systems
Used in CompactPCI, PCIe, and chassis-based platforms that depend on stable communication, expansion, and data handling.
Healthcare, Edge & OEM Equipment
Used in compact embedded products, medical platforms, edge systems, surveillance systems, and application-specific devices where compatibility matters.
How Embedded Repair Labs Can Help
Evaluation Review
We review the ADLINK part number, symptoms, photos, board type, chassis or carrier-board information, operating system, installed cards, and system application.
Repair Support
Where practical, we support repair paths for failed, unstable, intermittent, or damaged ADLINK boards and modules.
Replacement Guidance
If repair is not practical, we help identify compatible replacement options, equivalent boards, modules, or alternate sourcing paths.
Functional Testing
Where applicable, repaired or supplied ADLINK boards are checked for startup and functional behavior before return.
Before You Send an ADLINK Board Request
For faster review, include the ADLINK part number, board type, fault symptoms, quantity, chassis, backplane, carrier-board, or system information, operating system, installed expansion cards, and clear photos of the board. If the board is obsolete or unavailable, include any revision, connector, BIOS, I/O, slot, or compatibility requirements.
